In response to last year's parents survey and so that we can involve you further with your child's learning, we will be suggesting a range of activities that you might like to complete at home. The home learning will be send home weekly (usually on a Friday.) Thank you for your support.

Charges- Throughout the year all year groups will take part in various educational school trips and visits. For information about how we make charges for these events please see our Charging and Remissions Policy on the Policies and Documents page.

Bad Weather Policy

In cases of severe weather the school will do its utmost to remain open and will only close in the most extreme circumstances. Closure is based on careful risk assessment and decision making with the Chair of Governors and the Local Authority.

If we are forced to close we will publicise this on our website and also  Essex County Council website will list the names of closed schools. The school should be regarded as open until you receive a text message from the school or it is announced on the website that the school is closed.
